Nominations are now open for Mole Valley's glittery and very glamorous Youth Awards.
The event, now in its fifteenth year, shines a colourful spotlight on the achievements of young
people in Mole Valley, and will feature a variety of performances by talented young local performers.
This year's ceremony, organised by Mole Valley District Council and Youth Voice, Mole Valley's Youth Council, will take place on the evening of Friday 22 March at Dorking Halls.
The award categories are Young Volunteer Award, Sporting Achievement Award, Young Artist Award, Young Chef Award, Young Musician Award, Young Dancer Award, Drama Award, Young Team Award and Outstanding Achievement Award.
Councillor David Hawksworth CBE, Cabinet Member for Wellbeing, said: "This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with more local young performers set to take to the stage and the introduction of new awards including Young Chef and Young Dancer. I can't wait to meet the nominees and learn of their achievements."
The closing date for nominations is Monday 4 February 2019. Successful nominees will be informed by the end of February.
Tickets to the event are free, and will be bookable through Dorking Halls' Box Office.
